One thing I really enjoy about the whole process of photography/art is experimenting with a diversity of styles and subject matter from beautiful victorian era buildings and old cemeteries to more modern urban style subjects like my mannequin series and urban industrial scenery. Still life scenes, floral and a bit of nature round out my somewhat eclectic body of work.
Sometimes the camera is my only tool, sometimes it's just one of the artistic tools I will utilize to create my vision. My starting point was years ago with black and white film photography, commercial art and graphic design, also pen and ink architectural renderings. I'll leave off when exactly that was but will say there were no computers then....shhh...
My portfolio includes a mix of what is considered more traditional photography along with images enhanced with layers, textures, filters and other effects blended with the original image taken with my camera. This technique is referred to by many as photographic art or artistic photography. Sometimes this may be very obvious, sometimes it's a very subtle addition. In addition, there are a few digital art images created completely with software programs.
I welcome any questions or comments you may have about my work.
